✔️ Find out about the physiology of panic:
understanding what your body is doing
can give you effective reassurance.
✔️ Learn grounding techniques, such as
5-4-3-2-1
✔️ Look after the basics:
Poor sleep, ongoing stress, caffeine, alcohol
and irregular meals can make the body more
vulnerable to anxiety and panic sensations.
✔️ Know that it will pass:
No feeling is final and this also applies to
intense anxiety and panic.
✔️ Try not to avoid daily activities:
Easier said than done! But avoidance is often
a big driver of panic and anxiety.
